Application Procedure

Rubberlite White / Clear X+ are thixotropic and can become more viscous when left standing for prolonged
periods of time. However, the viscosity will reduce with stirring or agitation during the usual process of
printing. Small amounts of clean water can be added to reduce viscosity if necessary. Rubberlite White /
Clear X+ are suitable for silkscreen prints with screen mesh sizes of 100-130. For finer screen prints (150-
200) the addition of Humidifier is recommended to reduce potential clogging of the screen. Rubberlite White
/ Clear X+ are formulated without formaldehyde-containing fixers. Add 1-3% of Fixer NF into Rubberlite
White / Clear X+ to improve wash fastness and adhesion if necessary. The potlife after the addition of Fixer
NF is 8 hrs. It is recommended that Fixer be added right before printing and not left overnight. After drying,
the prints are fully cured at 135oC for ~2 min.
