AQUASOL ECONYLON WHITE/CLEAR

Water-based Highly Durable Binder Paste for Silkscreen Prints on Nylon Fabric

Properties

Aquasol EcoNylon White/Clear are formulated to provide excellent adhesion and durability on nylon type
and polyester-based fabric. If printed correctly, prints should be able to withstand a wash cycle of 5 x (60oC
water/200 g detergent/1hour agitation) without any sign of peeling, cracking or discolouration.
Consequently, Aquasol EcoNylon White/Clear are suitable for premium quality prints on branded goods.
Aquasol EcoNylon White/Clear are also environment friendly and free from conventional toxins (a copy of
our warranty letter is available upon request). Unlike conventional nylon inks, prints with Aquasol EcoNylon
White/Clear are smooth, soft and does not cause wrinkling of the base nylon fabric. In addition, Aquasol
EcoNylon White/Clear prints are fast drying and water-based, and consequently are suitable for tone/process
and multi-coloured prints on nylon fabric

Aquasol EcoNylon White – Highly opaque and flexible with brilliant white tone. Suitable for prints on dark
fabric.

Aquasol EcoNylon Clear – Transparent and flexible. Suitable for colour prints on white and light colour
fabric. Well suited for process and tone colour prints. Aquasol EcoNylon Clear can be mixed with Aquasol
EcoNylon White in any proportions as per requirement.

Application Procedure

Aquasol EcoNylon White/Clear should be mixed with 3-5% of Aquasol Fixer NF before printing (i.e. 100 g
of Aquasol EcoNylon White/Clear or mixture with 3-5 g of Aquasol Fixer NF). This mixture with Aquasol
Fixer NF will provide a pot life of approximately 8 hrs. Standard batches of colour pastes can be prepared
by mixing the colour pigments with Aquasol EcoNylon White/Clear or combination without the addition of
Fixer NF. Fixer NF is added only right before the printing process. Aquasol EcoNylon White/Clear are
thixotropic and can become more viscous when left standing for prolonged periods of time. However, the
viscosity will reduce with stirring or agitation during the usual process of printing. Small amounts of clean
water can be added to reduce viscosity if necessary. Aquasol EcoNylon White/Clear are suitable for
silkscreen prints with screen mesh sizes of ~1200. After drying, the prints are fully cured at 135-140oC for
~2 min. Allow 24 hrs. after heat curing before evaluation of the prints.
