Eco-friendly Fixer for Dry/Wet Rub Fastness
Properties
Aquasol Rub Fixer is a fixer/crosslinker which can be added into Aquasol textile inks and
printing paste to improve wash and dry/wet rub fastness. Unlike regular fixers, Aquasol
Rub Fixer is eco-friendly and free of formaldehyde and other banned chemicals. Aquasol
Rub Fixer when added into Aquasol inks will improve adhesion onto cotton-based fabric
and at the same time enhance the water/chemical resistance of the ink. Aquasol Rub fixer
is also effective for adhesion promotion on difficult fabrics like pure polyester and nylon.
Application Procedure
Add 5% of Aquasol Rub Fixer directly into Aquasol rubber inks (or other inks) and stir
until homogenous. Aquasol Rub Fixer is chemically stable and will not cause gelling of the
ink upon prolonged storage. Allow the print to dry at ambient conditions normally before
applying regular heat cure. Evaluate the print 24 hours after heat cure.
Storage
Do not exceed twelve months from date of manufacture. Protect from frost (>5oC). Keep
lids tightly closed at all times after use.
